Okay…again…sorry for another negative review. This one is unpleasant as well. A very oily, charcoal stick with only the faintest hint of sandalwood. It will do in a pinch and honestly is not THAT terrible compared to some of the charcoals out there, but it truly does smell like oil (from a car, not sandalwood oil) mixed with a little sandalwood powder and charcoal. It almost smells like someone is BBQing a sandalwood stick and used too much oil. It is sold in small packs of 10 grams. It is in a pale, brownish marbled package and sealed, likely to make sure the oil stays strong on the stick.
It is sold at Exotic Incense for $1.50 per pack, which is actually a pretty good price for this. If you're new to incense, you will probably enjoy this, but if you have any experience with higher quality Indian scents, you will want to trash it. Overall…something to try if you're new to incense, but if you're sensitive to oil and charcoal, NOT something to try.
Loving incense for 20 years now. Always willing to try new things and send samples of what I do like.
