STICKS
Beautiful, spicy, and just plain wonderful. Blessing was the very first Tibetan incense I've ever tried, and I was honestly disappointed at first. The first time I burned a stick, I was puzzled as to why everyone was raving about BOSEN. After I burned two more sticks, I started to detect the intricacies in this incense. This is priced incredibly low for the amazing quality, burns a long time, and leaves VERY little ash. I put my stick under a charcoal-burning grate (there are super cheap ones available on Amazon) and it burns down to the last, leaving no end unburned. I use a basic wooden incense stick holder to balance the grate holding the stick in place. I love this incense and was intent on finding a way to burn it that leaves nothing behind.
COILS
The smell and the long lasting time is simply amazing. I took a bolt and a screw and used those to hold it up. The only problem was that when I opened the box nearly half the coils were shattered into pieces. I can't give this a bad review because I'm only reviewing the scent, not the other issues, and when burned fully and completely, these coils are amazing. Blessing is my favorite BOSEN scent and I was so happy to get a long-burning type. I can now sit in bed and read for hours surrounded by the sweet scent of Blessing without having to get up. The aloeswood and other ingredients in this are also perfectly equal to those found in the stick. I compared the boxes and the scent. If you want a long-burning version of Blessing and don't mind broken coils, go ahead and order this. You can still burn the broken pieces on mesh or charcoal or if the piece is long enough, in a stick holder.
OVERALL
So, amazing incense. A learning curve, but that seems to be the case with all high-quality incense. This is spicy, woody, and sweet. I'm not sure what woods are in here, but I can detect the soft sweetness of Aloeswood, White Sandalwood, and Nard. This is a very high quality incense. It can be bought ONLY at Amazon.com, which is sad because BOSEN's official website sells even more varieties. It is Taiwan-only, if we have anyone from Taiwan wanting to check it out. BOSEN also sent me a huge sample pack (had to be worth at least $100, since every one of their high-end aloeswood samples were included, including coil versions of the stick type) to make up for how badly broken up my Blessing coils were. I also got 3 free full packs of Blessing coils, since I wanted to re-order but the company hadn't restocked Amazon. This is a great company, great products, and they really care about their customers! Blessing is only $10.95 at Amazon! Yes, you can find my review on there under the name FantasyLover (due to my love of fantasy novels).
Loving incense for 20 years now. Always willing to try new things and send samples of what I do like.
